Expert Cost Management ISO14064 Consultants
Green Energy Inspections can offer independent advice as the energy market grows more complex and fuel prices are getting higher.
Let our ABBE expert energy consultants reduce your fuel prices and your carbon emissions. We can uncover areas for improvements which might not have been indentified in the past and you could even become a carbon neutral company by measuring and reducing your greenhouse gas (ghg) emissions.
Energy Assessment and Installations
Green Energy can undertake an energy assessment showing you recommendations on how to help reduce your carbon footprint within your property (domestic/commercial) either it be through installing recommendations like cavity and loft installation or maybe behavioral change.
We can supply, fit and undertake all aspects of work from energy light bulbs through to photovoltaic panels with our fully approved CHAS and Constructionline Contractors.
We want to save you money and help the environment by going green. Contact Green Energy for further details.
Carbon Reduction Commitment (CRC)
Green Energy can help reduce your Carbon Reduction Commitment (CRC). We aim to help businesses improve the amount of carbon dioxide produced and improve their energy efficiency. We want to help achieve the UK government’s overall target to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by at lease 80% by 2050.
We will undertake an overview, help registering, measure performance, financial costs and measures and help you meet your CRC.

Energy Performance Certificates (EPC) have been introduced to help improve the energy efficiency of buildings.
If you are buying or selling a home you need a certificate by law. From October 2008 EPCs have been required whenever a building is built, sold or rented out. The certificate provides 'A' to 'G' ratings for the building, with 'A' being the most energy efficient and 'G' being the least, with the average up to now being 'D'.
Our accredited energy assessors will produce EPCs alongside an associated report which suggests improvements to make a building more energy efficient.
SAP Ratings (Standard Assessment Procedure for Energy Efficiency Ratings for Dwellings) have been a requirement under Part L Building Regulations for a number of years. Our qualified accredited SAP Rating Surveyors are ABBE approved and Stroma accredited and are licensed to provide SAP Ratings using the Government recognised Rating System of 1 - 100 on the new Part L Regulations that came into force April 2006.
Under new Part L Building Regulations you now need a SAP certificate for Domestic New Build & Conversion Properties.
An Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) is a certificate which demonstrates the energy rating of a building. It derives from the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (EPBD) which applies in England and Wales.
With over 40% of the UK’s energy consumption and carbon emissions produced by buildings and their construction, there are significant savings to be made. Commercial Energy Performance Certificates are enforced documents when transferring Commercial properties either by sale, rental or lease and are a legal requirement.
The energy performance of a building is identified using an ‘A’ to ‘G’ rating system, similar to the energy ratings provided with a fridge or washing machine. ‘A’ is the most efficient and ‘G’ the least efficient with the energy performance of the building shown as a CO2 based Index.
Green Energy can offer a quick turnaround and first class service. Our Commercial EPCS are fully compliant ABBE approved level 3 & 4 Energy Assessors.
Display Energy Certificate (DEC) shows the energy performance of a building based on actual energy consumption as recorded annually over periods up to the last three years (the Operational Rating). The Operational Rating (OR) is a numerical indicator of the actual annual carbon dioxide emissions from the building.
A DEC is valid for one year and must be updated annually. The Certificate will be displayed in a prominent place that is clearly visible to members of the public and will be no smaller than A3 in size. The advisory report, which accompanies the DEC, is valid for 7 years and contains a range of possible improvements, including cost-effective measures that may be implemented to improve the energy performance of the property. It is not necessary for the council to display the advisory report; however these will be made available to members of the public in due course.
Our certified assessors undertake an extensive air-conditioning survey which includes an advisory report. Green Energy is ideally placed to deliver compliance in this mandatory requirement under Article 9 of the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (EPBD). It can pay for itself in just a few weeks when low cost measures are identified during inspection and are implemented.
